Yes it's fine with one aside...
Since your weapon is chambered for the 357 the ridge for the 357 cartridge is farther up in the cylinder.
If you continuously fire 38s through there, it will build up residue on the ridge, since the 38s are shorter.
If you don't properly clean this when you want to go back to 357s your bullets will fit tight as the shoulder of the cartridge will jam into the residue.
