I mean really they are just people. so who cares if they love someone who is the samesex. as long as they are happy and love the person it shouldnt matter. People should not be able to say who other people are allowed to love. god would not create something he does not have a reason for. so stop with the mean names and stuff. because you should go to hell for making someone else's life hell because of their lifestyle

I'm 100% with you. They are human beings too, and a good majority of people don't see that. Why should any1 care about someones sexual preference? That is ridiculous and makes me angry.

i think it comes down to empathy....if a hetero-person can't put him/herself in the shoes of a LGBT person, it's harder to feel empathy and easier to dismiss the very valid points you made above. it's especially difficult for men in society, where any show being less masculine (which is associated with gay men) causes fears to arise, which turns into disgust. throw in some religious dogma, and you have a perfect storm.
a critical thinker is more likely to have your point of view, rather than someone who derives their ideas from their emotions and feelings. what's worse, about 75% of the people in the world are incapable of deductive reasoning. you can lay out all the logic you like, but it's easier to fall back on superstition and tradition than to think out a position on your own. that's why a lot of people go with a "gut" feeling (which is based on past experiences, social morays, religion, and the "go withthe flow" mentality) rather than logically thinking through an issue and forming an independent opinion.
however, no matter how much we might agree/disagree with someone, we should be mindful that everyone has a right to his/her own beliefs regardless from where they are derived. it's only in a case where the beliefs are some are used to negate the rights of others that this is truly an issue.
thank you for posting your question/comments. we need more people to speak up!

that's in basic terms weird and wonderful. some persons are quite uncomfortable with in basic terms the seen it. Like a guy and a guy... whats going to take place there? Your asserting all human beings hate distinctive and due it is in basic terms a lie. each and every physique is distinctive in a manner yet we don't all hate one yet another. additionally that's the way persons are mentioned. transforming into up as a baby you do not hear approximately homosexual human beings and couples you hear approximately at present couples and mothers and fathers being happy families, and on occasion you will hear how being 'homosexual' is a sin/incorrect. sometimes words/words are used like,"your so homosexual" or "you homo" like its a foul issues, so human beings could get that concept. and you recognize how concepts unfold. additionally human beings in basic terms discover it disgusting and inhumane. they can not reproduce, it could desire to be a guy or lady, yet interior the top it quite is there determination, a girl could be with a girl, and a guy could be with a guy, in the event that they chosen to realize this. that's in basic terms appeared down upon in society being of ways the media sometimes reflects gays and how adults and little ones used the term 'homosexual' from jokes and cruelty.

I know it is like some foods i prefer and others hate and some foods i will not eat others love.

Can't people just realise that we have tastes which are natural and some which are due to experiences leading us not to prefer some foods, and the same is probably true about whether we love a man or a woman or both.

People want to fear superior, so they say "Well, I don't like the same sex so I'm going to say that it's wrong to like the same sex, then I can be a step aboves all those who are straight like me". They are jerks because there is nothing wrong with liking the same sex. Don't you hate how they say that they are "straight" as if implying that us LGBT's are crooked? There's nothing crooked about us, we are simply a little different, but isn't everyone a little different from everyone else?

I totally agree, and if people don't like it, tough. People need to start seeing people as individuals and not as a group. And if you are going to judge someone, judge them by their characters. Though a little caution, if you are going to judge someone, be prepare to be judged back.
