you can get it on eBay.
As a Catholic person, rosary is a very personal item, some times you get your mom or grand-mom rosary but generally you get your own at your first communion when the Catholic church teaches you how to pray it.
It is a very nice necklace like piece but it is not meant to be worn as a fashion accessory.
Generally females ( also tons of males) pray and cry to their rosary daily when they ask for intersection to the Virgin Mary or Pray to the Lord.
Just imagine how many millions of people around the world venerate and treat their rosary as a treasure. Just for respect to humans and believes it shouldn't be worn as a simple necklace.
You can find beautiful beaded necklaces around that will look as nice as a rosary.
Peace!

A Rosary is not so much a piece of jewelry as it is a tool. The various beads, medals, and crucifix's found on the Rosary represent prayers. Obviously, there are a lot of prayers involved, and the Rosary is supposed to help one keep count.

Having said that, it is okay to wear one (or hang it from the rear view mirror of a car) only so long as your purpose is to advance the awareness of the Rosary and the Catholic Church in general.

Rosaries can be purchased anywhere Catholic/Christian religous goods are sold. Your best bet, for both selection as well as price range, is to go through an online store which sells Catholic goods.

There are many, may I recommend JMJ Catholic Goods...www.totallycatholic.com.

The Rosary is not a piece of jewelry.

The Rosary is a tool that can be used by anyone in prayer.

The Rosary is rarely worn. Some religious sisters in habits wear them.

If you choose to wear a Rosary then remember to behave accordingly. Just like wearing a Cross or Crucifix, you are telling the world that you believe in and are trying to live the Gospel message.

With love in Christ.

A rosary is not a necklace it is used for praying. They are beautiful but the purpose of the rosary is to help us meditate on the great mysteries of our salvation. It is not sacrilegious if you want one as a necklace, but some Christians feel it is improper to wear one. You can find rosaries in different places. We get ours from a hispanic lady that makes them at our local flea market.

Wearing a rosary as a piece of jewelry is sacreligious and is a violation of the commandment to not take the Lord's name in vain. It is a very serious sin to take ANY holy object in vain.
