To be a good inventor, you must be inspired. You will find it very difficult and frustrating to sit in your chair and try to think of different things you can invent. Try instead taking something you enjoy and figuring out how to make it better. A good example is the baseball on a string used for batting practice. Somebody somewhere (maybe even your age) liked baseball but never had anyone around to practice with. So he/she came up with a way to practice alone. So ask yourself what it is that you like to do, and find a way to make it better. That's where you'll find true passion and the secret of good inventors.

Well, you go right ahead. All you really need is right between your ears. The world is always looking for new gadgets to save time and make you money. Take a few days to look around you and try to see what things you think could be changed or improved and go from there.

start with an idea. draw it out. there are organizations that help with this sort of thing. check on-line for those goups. maybe your local news channel or news paper can help you out as well. good luck to you and don't give up. the world needs more enterprising young people.

dont tell no one. you will need to take it to a patent office, with a prototype- a working model of what you want, with blueprints of how it works, get it patented, then it is YOUR idea.
