These r only spelled differently in the UK.

those are the most well known for spelling color-colour, favorite-favourite, any thing where the UK uses 'ou' we Americans got lazy and dropped the 'u'. As far as saying words, we say id' i' ot, the Brits say idch' yot; we say a' lum' in' um they say al' yU' min' i' um. Mostly it seems we Americans are just lazy.

Colour, favourite, stuff like that. In the U.S., we just spell color and favorite.
