As a United fan, I must admit I didn't expect these 2 signings and United did a good job keeping this under wraps until things were finalised.

I always thought Arteta would of been a good signing this season but Sir Alex is opting for young talent so I can't blame him. I'm predicting its roughly 10m spent on each Nani and Anderson...so adding the 20m on Hargreaves makes up the 40m that has been speculated.

I think this is it for signings, maybe Sir Alex would add a striker but I think he will sell some players now to make up for the money spent.

However, the whole adapting aspect comes into play and I hope both Nani and Anderson can succeed in that. I do also hope that they defend for the team aswell, otherwise it could de-stabilise the team.

He's not had a bad pre season. I don't know if it's losing the shackles of Ronaldo's shadow or what. He looked a competent wide player and fed crosses well and done well to put 'em away as well. There were a lot of positives in all. I was pleased with Michael Owen in Asia and it was great to hear such a great reception for him at Old Trafford last Wednesday night. I would like to see the ABU's getting off his back too. I seen running yesterday which took the clock back 4 or 5 years from Owen. He's chasing from deep and that's something I didn't see too much of in a Newcastle shirt.

Look on the bright side at least Man Utd can only field 11 players... if those two play who is going to miss out... Giggs and scholes. And having all the flair in the world doesn't necessarily mean they will succeed in the premiership where the likes of Ben Thatcher come crunching in to you from behind. Chelsea will be there or there abouts and Utd won't have it all their own way for sure.

Oh, Kasper, I already feel the excitement that next season will bring to Manchester United. That Sir Alex definitely has exceptional talent and taste. Two great additions, that's for sure!
Have a good night!

Really bad news...and we should be getting KERLON!!! now... hmmm let's see if they do adapt to the rigour of the English Premier League....Injuries and inadaptation have always been ManUtd problems...Kleberson and Ricardo have also been promising players!! We should only wait and watch....

Wow was that suppose to be impressive by Nani? Two of the goals he scored were luck. The ball hit the defenders and it went in. I have doubts about Nani. But I was surprise hearing about Anderson. I wasn't expecting this. This guy can do wonders for Man u
