That's not ich. Ich looks like salt grains on the fish. A moldy or cottony look is associated with one of two things, fungus or columnaris.
Odds are very good you have fungus on your fish. If it can be put in a tank to be treated by itself all the better, but if not that, ok too, you can treat the entire tank.
There are several good fungus treatments on the market. My personal favorite is Maroxy, but if that's not available just ask for a recommendation from the shop or ask what they use for fungus in the store. Independent local fish store please, not one of the big chain stores. The larger chain stores should have Maroxy though. Just treat as the package indicates and it should clear up in a few days.
If it doesn't clear up in 4-5 days you may have columnaris. That will need to be treated with an antibiotic. Furanace or Maracyn TC is a good treatment for columnaris.
Best of luck and if I can help further feel free to email me.

Black mollies, heck all mollies seem to be prone to eye infections.
This might help...

if it was ich, one a black molly it is easy to spot, they look "salted" because ich is going to dozens of tiny white grains (cysts).
If the tank is only mollies, I'd suggest putting aquarium (not table) salt in the amount of 1 rounded tablespoon per 5 gallons. Perhaps half one day, half a day or two later, as these are brackish water fish and they will benefit from it.

It could be an infection or something you can go to walmart or a place that sells fish medicine and look on the bottle and it will tell you what types it treats and will show pictures that might help... i had a fich that had a red infection on its side and it cleared up with in days with the medicine you should try it, it is very cheap 2-3 dollars. Hope this helps!

Probably a fungus - definitely not Ich and it will spread to other fish so you should remove the molly to another container. There are tons of fungus cures at petsmart.com or Dr. Foster and Smith, Petwarehouse.com , Petco.com etc.
