Ever notice in the latest James Bond Movies, there was no middle-eastern bad guy? When the Cold War was going on, they had no qualms as showing the Russians as evil, yet now with the rise of Islamic terrorism, the last bad guy was an African dude, and a French dude. Shouldn't James Bond movies reflect the bad guys in real life? Why don't they do it now?

Since Casino Royale was considered a reboot (which means the series starts over from the beginning effectively, all previously-known history is declared by the writer to be null and void ), it is unknown if EON Productions plans to remake the previous novels/movies. There is always the option that instead of remaking previously made 007 movies they will make movies and then they may make movies in which the script calls for Bond may have to stop a terrorist. There were 3 Daniel Craig movies planned so far. All I know for sure is that the character of Mathis is planned for the next Bond movie. He appears in the novels: main character in Casino Royale and a supporting character in both From Russia with Love (It was Mathis who captured the SMERSH villain, Rosa Klebb and it was Mathis also used CPR to keep Bond alive after he was poisoned by Klebb until a doctor arrived) and Dr. No. In the novel Never Dream of Dying, he was captured by the head of the Union Le Gerant and blinded with lasers, although Bond later saved him from imprisonment.

The last movie casino royale was the first Bond novel that Ian flemming wrote. they just redid it with a real movie. the former one was a spoof not done by the people who normally make bond movies. so it wouldnt have been very modern. and of course he is dead now anyway so i dont expect much except maybe some rereleases of old ones anyway.
