I'm 16yrs.old I want to save for the future but There are many distractions which I've been encountering like buying loads for my 2 SIM CARDS..The 1 is for my real identity & the 2 one is JUST FOR FUN with the BOYS coz they know that I'm a girl so I could ask loads for them!!!! PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR BEST ADVISE SO THAT I COULD CONCENTRATE ON MY SAVINGS....THANKS & GOD BLESS....PLEASE!!!!!!....NO MONEY MAKING STUFF/SCAM FROM THE INTERNET...

from another teen the best thing to do is if you have a parent that is trust worthy you could have a seperate account with your name and a parents name that requires two signitures per transaction.

At 16, its hard to be focused on savings... if you get an allowance/ job/ wherever you get money, try to save some of it and spend some of it. Do like 50/50, but you cant touch your savings, so just pretend its not even there. Use a savings account/piggy bank/safe. The rest you can use on your sim cards or whatever you want.

Also if you work, ask your parents about ROTH IRAs too. Put your savings here.

If you have a job, ask your employer if you can have part of you pay deposited directly into a savings account. If you never see the money, you are less likely to miss it. That is why the IRS likes tax withholding. Most Americans have no idea how much they pay in taxes, because they never see it.
