Hello! Survey Questions:
1) There is a new fast food restaurant in town. It has great foods and cheap prices. You can get your food there for lunch quickly, and you might even receive bonuses in your meal (like coupons) that could give you a free large drink next time. Would you come try it out? If not, why?
2) There is a donut shop in town. You can come there to eat donuts and drink coffee for breakfast. If you are a loyal customer, the store will give you a bonus on holidays. If you have a business such as a gas station, the donut shop will give you discounts for the donuts that you order. If you order donuts for a certain amount of time, you will have to sign a contract, but you will also receive extras for free on special occasions. Would you come try it out? If not, why?
3) Do you like the fast food restaurant better, or the donut shop?
Thanks for your answers!

1- I'll try any restaurant once. If I don't like it, you better believe I won't be back again.

2- Once again....I will try any restaurant once. If I don't like it you, you better believe I won't be back. But, we're talking donuts, so more than likely, I'll love it.

3- Donut shop, cause I've got the biggest sweet tooth in America. I could live on donuts if they were good for you. lol!!!

I think you should go. Almost everybody is nervous when they do something different. It's natural. And your nervous expectations are probably making it a lot worse than it will actually be. Nobody is going to be there to judge you. You were invited because you have something to share that is of interest to others. And maybe seeing a friendly face there of someone you know could help you feel a little more relaxed. Don't worry if you make mistakes. In fact, tell people up front how you feel. These people that are there are not there to laugh at you. They are interested in your life or they wouldn't be there. They probably have someone in their life going thru a similar situation or maybe they are studying to be a teacher for special education. Either way, you are the teacher here and they are the students. Do your best and you have nothing to be ashamed about. Run away and you will always regret it. You can handle the crush feelings. I was crazy in love with a guy who didn't feel the same about me when I met the person who is now my husband. I still see the other guy and his wife now and then. Sometimes there's a twinge of feeling still, but I also know the heart is sometimes wrong for one reason or another. I married the right person but I will never regret the feelings I had for the other guy. And I'll tell you this, the other guy and his wife are very good friends of ours now and sometimes a good friend is better than anything else.

1. I like your restaurant idea especially if you offered sensible choices like nice salads and not fast food with a lot of fat and sodium. I would frequent just such a restaurant.
2. I don't care for the donut shop idea at all. There is no redeeming food value in donuts and I would not want to encourage employees to eat such food items in a day and age where obesity is so rampant.(myself included.)
3. I believe you can tell from my answers that I like idea #1.

I would have to go with the fast food deal.
I would rather have a nice hot meal once in a while, than sign a contract for donuts. There aren't many of us who own a gas station. The fast food deal would, in my opinion, be the best for the general public.
