I'm in my 31st week (depending on the math you do, that's 7 or 8 months, but I still have two to go, so . . . ). Sometimes, just to amuse myself, I still suck in my belly, to see how much is "me" and how much "baby." This works really great when I'm laying down . . .
If you're trying to "suck it in" to hide a baby belly, it's a waste of time. The uterus is a separate entity! The growing baby WILL stand out after a few months, and you'd get VERY uncomfortable trying to walk around like that all day.
If you're doing this to try to get into pre-maternity pants, again, it's a waste of time. One thing that can prolong the life of pants is a rubber band (the ones for your hair work great!) looped through the button hole and around the button, but that's only if you're wearing a longer shirt; a belly shirt will show that your pants need to be zipped . . . There's all kinds of different maternity pants out there, a lot of which don't even LOOK like maternity! And they'd be a lot more comfortable on a growing belly than walking around all day sucking in your stomach!
Relax, and BREATHE! It gets harder the further into pregnancy you get anyway, so don't waste your oxygen that way!

Every woman is different. But yes, some can. I could at first. But why suck it in? Pregnancy is a beautiful thing that should not try to be hid.

do you mean is it possible or will it harm the baby? the answer to is it possible depends on the mom...i didn't gain a pound until i was well into my 5th month.....so yes, my stomach could be sucked in..although i don't remember doing so....will it harm the baby? no. the baby is so small at the beginning and has lots to protect it....

What a strange question but yes you can do it the whole way through, i'm 8mths and I can still suck it in, doesn't really change the buldge much.

yea but don't see the reason you would really need to. If I wanted to I could have up until probably about 15 weeks or so. I still wore my regular dress pants up until about 18 weeks.

Yes they can...I wouldn't suggest doing it later on in pregnancy it causes some discomfort just trying.

Sure! Some women can...but if you can't, don't worry about it!
And most do start showing sooner with a second pregnancy.
