They won't finish in last the play in the same division as the Orioles and the Blue Jays, trust me they wont finish in last. Also, Mike Mussina's contract is up at the end of the year, A-Rod can opt out, Bobby Abreu will get traded, and the will negate Giambi's contract. With all that free money they will then buy some players and they did build up there minor league system last year and the years before with people like Phillip Hughes to trade to get players to replace them and put them back on top right after they fire Joe Torre and bring in Joe Giradhi again. That is my thoughts though.

Torre's contract runs out I believe, but if not he still gets fired. He has worn out his welcome and would be seven years removed from a wrold series title, way too long for a team paying that much for talent. I think they offer Willie Randolph a lot of money, and if that doesn't work make Joe Girardi the manager. Cashman gets fired too and George tries to buy John Sherholtz from Atlanta.

After the tamtrum if the Mets do well.
Amazing things can happen
He may just reorganize the entire team.

He has been on top for many years, so maybe it is time for a change.
