I would say Disturbed would be Alternative Metal, i really like them
Saliva, dont really listen to them but know a few of there songs is Alternative hard rock-ish type
Drowning Pool (love them) I say they r just one the best hard rock bands ever
System of a Down would fit in with Disturbed as Alternative Metal, I like them also, but these r all my opinions, others may have different ones, so this is what I think

We can't really say what subgenre of metal they all are since Saliva is sort of grudge music, while Disturbed is hard rock/heavy metal and System of a Down is alternative and has its own style.
