have the cooling system flushed as chunks in the fluid would not indicate a intake manifold problem, water in your oil would indicate a intake problem and you would be losing your radiator fluid. The last time I had to have my intake manifold gasket changed on my 3.1 grand am it was close to $600 and that wasn't a dealer that did it.

Either clean and service your radiator or have it done first before you condemn the head gasket. You did not say if it was running hot.Generally if a head gasket is blown a car will run hot. Also are you having to add water daily? Also another clearer indication the water is going somewhere. The actual job takes about 4-6 hours depending on the quality of the mechanic.@ $65.00-$85.00 per hour. But if the head is warped, depending on what part of the world you're in , that could be pretty expensive. One last thing ,if it was done under warranty at a good shop, part if not all of the second repair will be covered. since this is an ongoing issue at GM, you might see if they won't off set part of the repair.

Did the last shop flush the cooling system? That's not normally included in the intake gasket replacement, and may not have been recommended nor performed. Just curious if the material in your radiator was there from the last repair, instead of being a new concern. Get it flushed first, and then keep an eye on it.

There is a good chance your intake gasket is ok. I would take it and have the cooling system flushed.You get a lot of build up in the cooling system after a blown intake and needs to be flushed.

Yes, when was the last time you serviced the radiator or cooling system? If you are using dexcool, it is very prone to these problems and needs to be serviced regularly.

verify the transmission fluid factor first, stick with the teachings on the dip stick, no longer all are an same. If the fluid factor is sturdy, do it your self, or have the transmission fluid and clear out replaced. If that would not fantastic the priority contact a respected transmission keep. pay attention of undesirable workmanship, get references, and verify them. sturdy success with it.
