Because I'm Queen of all the birds and I HATE clean windows (because I live on a main road and my windows NEVER stay clean for 5 mins) so I send my little "friends" to help in my never ending quest to rid the world of clean windows.
Sorry, it's all my fault!

Would you take a crap in a public bathroom without first cleaning the seat? Of course not! Why should the bird be any different?

Three theories...
1) Birds go around on a points system.i.e. points for hitting someone on the head, shoulder, cars, clean hanging washing, and of course windows ...newly cleaned and gleaming being the higher points
2) they are attracted to the gleam of the windows and it excites them so much they poop
3) the gleam of the windows show a reflection and they litterally sh*t themselves

I would always prefer to crap on something clean. Either as a human with hygiene concerns, or as a bird, soiling something perfect so as to emphasize the fact i CAN crap on your shiney thing. Dominant race perhaps but try **** on my house from a great height, suckers!!

For the same reason that when you clean your windscreen and drive a mile, a mosquito will squash right in front of your eyes (not on the passenger side).

It's called "LIFE". Same thing happens when people clean their cars! Like why do you put out washing to dry then it starts to rain!!! Or we get a wet Bank Holiday weekend!!!

This is true, so why bother, hey? I get a window cleaner in and because it is not me who cleaned them, it is not so upsetting!
