Her urine is probably darker due to a lack of water in her diet. Tell her to drink more. And depending on her age this may be perfectly normal. The average human woman isn't fully sexually mature until the age of about 25 years old. Yes, we get the signs of puberty well before then, and we can become pregnant, but our bodies are still changing. They just don't have the routine down until then. So there is often breakthrough bleeding (or spotting) and irregularity in our periods. It is possible she is pregnant, but I would bet it's a case like I have already described. Still, she should be checked by a doctor if this becomes a concern.

Well, this has happened to me for a few years. I would spot before my period and sometime I have gone 2-3 months without a period and wasn't pregnant at all. So the best thing to do is to have your friend go to the obgyn for the results

every lady is different, some ladies experience bleeding throughout their whole pregnancy, however this is NOT normal.
there could be a chance that she is pregnant, is she having any other symptoms?
has she done a home pregnancy test or a blood test to know if she is or not? I suggest taking her to the doctor and getting a blood test done, they are more sensitive than a home pregnancy test and 100% accurate, and if positive I would mention to the doctor about this bleeding as it is not normal and could be dangerous in some cases.

First have her take a pregnancy test. If it is positive call the doc's office and make the first appointment. If it is negative sometimes the littlest stress can have an effect on the monthly. You can still take a pregnancy test even if you have had bleeding and it will still tell you the results.

She might be pregnant with a condition called placenta previa where the placenta is covering the cervix and not against the uterus, that will cause the spotting. She definitely needs to go see her OB/GYN immediately.

Well its not really normal to be spotting all of a sudden, but the only way she'll really be able to tell is through her ob or a pregnancy test...best of luck

Yes, she could be pregnant. It is common sometimes when you are on birth control and became unknowingly pregnant to have some spotting.
I reccommend that she see a doctor as soon as possible.
