first make sure you have the right absorbency size, TSS is no joke second get one out and take it out of the wrapper. the applicator stays on for insertion so make your hand into the shape of yourself and put the applicator with the tampon in your hand (the narrow end with the string will still be out) at the end of the bulb where the tampon is there is usually some type of ridging put your thumb and middle finger on the ridges then use you first finger to push the skinny end into the bulbed end this will push the actual tampon out the top of the bulbed end and wala it may take you awhile to get the hang of it so in case your in a year round school practice and get used to tampons on a weekend so you dont end up really embarrassed good luck

Read the instructions first so that you get an idea of how to do it - there might even be pictures to guide you. Just put the tip of the applicator in and push gently on the smaller end. Then remove the tip of the applicator and make sure the string is visible so that you will able to pull it out later.

Read the directions on the package. They have a picture guideline as well. It's really not difficult. You stick it in until you're fingers are against your body, push in the tampon and pull the applicator out. The string is left hanging out. It's pretty easy, but take your time until you can get comfortable with it.

when you push the tampon all the way in u just pull the applicator down the string should be in the middle of the applicator and u should just be able 2 pull it out!

after you have inserted the tampon you just pull the applicator out....both pieces will come out together....its real simple. there is a website called www.beinggirl.com that will tell you all about it, and they even have a short video that shows you exactly what to do....good luck hun!!

Read the directions on the package or ask your mom if you dont understand. I had my first period 5 weeks ago i had the same question.

It shouldn't "enter" you if you're inserting it right. Just put the tip in and push the little skinny "stick"....the tampon should go in, but not the applicator. HTH!
