k=10

8=10/square root of x

square root of x (8) = 10

square root of x = 10/8 (5/4)

x = (5/4)^2

y=k/x
2=k/radical 25
2=k/5
10=k

y=k/x
8=10/radical x
8radical x=10
radical x=5/4
square of radical x= 5/4 squared
x= 25/16

2/25 =8/x
2x=25(8)
2x=200
2/2 200/2
x=100

k=10
8=10/x^.5
x^.5=10/8 = 5/4

ans: x=25/16

2=k(1/sqrt(25))
2=k(1/5)
so k=10
8=10(1/sqrt(x))
(8/10)=1/sqrt(x)
(10/8)=sqrt(x)
x= (10/8)^2
= (5/4)^2

i would multiply 2*4 to get 8
then multiply 25*4 to get whatever.
