Because the munchkins told her too - and the whole grip of them can be pretty intimidating...she didn't want to be attacked and beaten with lollipops!

Why, to see the Wizard. She wanted desperately to see the Wizard, who turned out to be a fraud. Her quest however, was to get back home, and she was told that through his powers, she could do so. That he and only he, could grant her that wish. He however, was a fake, but after a long and troublesome journey, she did make it back to Kansas. Correct me if I am wrong, but the real power was in the slippers that she wore. The ones that she was told by the Good Witch, to never take off. In case you've forgotten, she clicked her heels three times, and then she was off, and don't forget about the friends, she met along the way. The Cowardly Lion, The Scare Crow and The Tin Man. Without them, she might not have made it.

Because the Red one was under constrution at the time, and the Green one hadn't been built yet. And the Blue one, would have taken her in to the wrong part of town.

Because sometimes in Kansas.. there ain't a whole lot else to do? Especially in August when it is like 1.2 million degrees centigrade!
You can't even watch the grass grow because most of it has withered from the heat...

Because she got off at the WRONG Metro stop,....she was STUCK in Southeast D.C.!!(In the Anacostia area!)
and she just HAD to do SOMETHING to get the hell up Outta there! B'cuz people be gettin Shot over there! B'cuz it's a pretty Dangerous Area to be at!(especially @ Night!)
