There may indeed be an influence from a full moon - certainly many other creatures have cycles that are synchronised with the moon's.

However, I'd like to clear up any doubt you might have about a 'tidal' effect.

Tidal effects are due to the difference in gravitational force experienced between two parts of an object. Since gravitational force depends on distance, then the part of the object closer to the source of the gravitational attraction will experience a greater force than the part further away. This difference in forces between the two parts of the same body creates a stretching effect which is called a tidal force.

Clearly, even the tallest person will not experience a difference in gravitational force due to the moon between their head and foot.

At it's closest, the moon is roughly 357 thousand kilometers above the earths surface. A tall person is roughly 2 meters high. So there is only 6 parts in a billion difference in distance to moon between head and foot! Not likely to generate significant tidal forces :)

I hope it's clear then that the water content of our bodies makes little difference either!

Its not a full moon until Friday, so maybe your body is just ahead of itself.
And I used to get weird at the full moon, but I decided a few years ago to choose a different reaction - now I love the beauty and tranquility of the full moon and find it restful.
But other people still let the moon control them.

Its just not you...it happens to alot of people including ME....When I was working at a Nursing Home years ago, you always knew when there was a "full moon"...there are more fights, and people are in general crabby...I swear, if I was in a room with NO WINDOWS, I could tell you exactly when there is a full moon...I don't sleep good at all when this happens. Peace

As an astronomer, I suffer because the bright full Moon makes it much harder for me to see the faint deep sky objects and variable stars I want to observe.

But as for psyhological effects of full Moon, that is pure piffle. So you say you're feeling the effects of Full Moon tonight? Well, it isn't going to be Full Moon for another 24 hours! That's the problem: people don't know when Full Moon occurs, so they enlarge the "full Moon period" until several days worth of events fall in it. Same logical fallacy as in the predictions of astrology. Make everything vague and ill defined, and wow, look at all the correlations!

Yep definately! I used to think it was a load of rubbish but I definately feel different when it's a full moon. But if you think about it, the moon affects the tides and we are made up of a lot of water so I think there's something in it.

If this is a serious question............
The moon exerts strong 'tidal' influences on any body of water. That includes us, as we're largely composed of water (believe it or not). So we can indeed be influenced by the moon's waxing and waning.

If this isn't a serious question at all...........
It's nothing to do with either the moon or astrology - what have you been drinking??????

P.S. Whichever, don't worry too much as long as you don't suddenly start growing a lot of body hair and howling at the moon.................

Definitely, I get all weird and seem to develop a sixth sense, I always know if someones gonna call or come over, and if someones in trouble or under stress, and it makes me very active(animalistically!).
I am Cancerian and wear a silver and moonstone ring in a chain around my neck - given to me by religious people from India - to protect and guide me!?
I think cancerians are the most active psychics anyway.
