My friends and I were thinking of shooting a movie like the Godfather and put the video on Youtube. We were also going to dress up, and try to be actors!
But there is one problem: We all are around 14, 15 years old, so what would people think if they saw us on Youtube in this Godfather like movie? Would they think that we are bad kids who are obsessed with guns or would they just not care?
I really want your honest opinion because we were thinking of shooting a Godfather sequel movie and want to know if it would be smart or not. We are good kids and etc. so its not like we are gun nuts!

Well that is one of the things that me friends and I are going to do: First make a great series of comedy movies and slowly move into the action.

I'm a gun nut myself...but if I seen your movie, It depends on the quality of the sound/scenes/acting/and the story line...I wouldn't give a crap if you guys really were gun nuts.. as long as the movie is good....
you guys should really go along with it...if you think you can pull it off.
I was hoping you guys would say comedy...now I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I, personally, would think you were wanna be gangsters and that you had a tendency for violence. My suggestion would be to start with something that has no violence in it and then, after you establish yourself, move on to the things you really like. BTW, The Godfather was a great movie, but I wouldn't have watched it if the actors had been teenagers. It's too grim to think about!

the gun thing doesn't strike me as the issue...it's more of an originality thing. It's hard to come across as a serious actor by redoing something that has been redone more times than anyone cares to count.
No offence... I just see that as the issue...good luck if you decide to do it however!

They will think you kids are violent or on the other hand they will think you kids are brilliant. I say go ahead and make the movie. Its a mafia movie so there is going to be violence.

Honestly I don't think anyone will pay that much attention. They might wonder why you youngins aren't doing chores or something.
