No big deal - just go about you business - he may see the evidence in the trash when you leave, but generally speaking, guys really don't want to discuss this topic with their daughters. Unless you are in the habit of telling each other what you are doing when you go to the bathroom then this is just more of that.

This is none of your dads business and why do you have to tell him, Just don't say anything to him about this and I doubt he would won't to know, men find this to be sicken especially when it involves his daughter, I don't know what type of relationship you guys have but I would think that it wouldn't be that close. Are you proud of being on your period, well he won't be, so please take it from a mom and don't bring this up.
Your Mom should tell you this . I understand your dad being interested in your growing up but this is not what he is interested in unless he is a freak. I wonder if you are trying to tell us something. Lets us know if your Dad finds out about the period. I',m really interested in knowing.

Are you sure that your mother hasn't already told him? If they speak, you could have her mention it to him. Look, it's not a big deal. Men aren't clueless about such things. They know about periods and he knows that you'll get yours at some point. Trust me, he'll WANT you to get a period because that's the only way that he's going to have a grandchild someday!

Other than that....there is no reason to pressure yourself to tell him. You can roll up your pad or tampon and hide it in the trash if you want. You should have privacy in the bathroom anyway so it shouldn't even come up.

Well....lets start off with the fact that your screen name is SEX GODDESS!!!!! TMI! So, tell your Dad, I am guessing he is mature. It might help him understand you a little mroe and your mood swings or why you may not feel like going rollerblading. Connect with your Dad. This could be the most stable relationship you ever have in your life.

I can't imagine it will become a topic of conversation but if he does ask just tell him the truth, it shows that he is concerned about you.

Well, you don't have to announce it, but if there are no other women around there, he will find out when he empties his trash can and there are some tampons and pads in there.
