you could go to your own private doctor first, and see what the results are...and then,...if it is something that can be cured,..get the right meds and start getting better, if it is h.i.v...then you need to know this anyway, and hopefully, won't get fired for it...God Bless dear, pray you're alright.

Life can be pretty hard at times but you ALWAYS have options. For one thing, don't stress yourself out about the HIV test. Focus on your problems one at a time. Worrying about something you don't even know is true is pointless. There's no need for it unless you want to stress yourself out even more so. A crib is not the most important thing for the baby, IMO, it's something that they do in a way need but I think what's more important is if the baby has diapers and can be cared for. No offense, but the guy sounds like a jerk. Men don't typically liked being bossed around and is probably getting impatient with you asking about the crib money. Also, I think it to be rather silly to marry a man just because you're having a baby with him. Not saying you want to get married to him, but if you plan on having a future with him and aren't getting along at all now.....you have your work cut out for you. Being with someone in the long term that you can't even talk to is not a good way to go, IMO. Don't let the fact that you're having a baby make you feel like you need this guy around. A relationship that is forced is never going to be good and of course everyone wants their little baby to have a happy little couple as parents. Hardly ever happens. You sound stressed out and it doesn't seem like there is much for you TO do. If I were you, I'd go put on some relaxing music, take a bath and just calm down. Life goes on and you'll figure stuff out. I'm sure you have people to turn to and if you don't, I'm sure there are organizations to help if it comes to be that tough. Just relax, worrying your life away is not a good way to live, plus, you want to live to see your grandchildren. =p Worrying shortens your life. Hard times happen but it moves on.

HIV will show in the blood test and that's the only way to be tested, but not if they're not checking for that. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea are tests done with swabs in the vagina and don't ever show in blood as far as I know. Syphilis is a blood test, and you can check Herpes antibody in blood, but I don't know how accurate the herpes one is in blood. Usually herpes or genital warts you have to have an outbreak and be diagnosed during that time. Bottom line is, you have to request these tests for them to be ordered and run, so you may want a well woman check up just to make sure and test everything all at once, along with bringing your pap up to date as well.

No, the tests for hepatitis are specific for that condition so neither HIV or any other STD's will show up in these blood tests. All embarrassment aside, it would be to your advantage to have these tests done.

HIV testing can only be done with your consent. Even if you have a full blood panel taken, by law you have to sign a consent form before they can run this test on you. You may need to have this done anyway due to the fact you are going to work in the health industry, so my advice would be to go ahead and take this test and get it over with.
