~Ethiopia is the only land occupied by fascists either before or during WWII. Benito Mussolini was the founder of 'fascism' and his Italy is the only fascist state which occupied or annexed any of your choices.
France was occupied by Germany after the war began. Austria was annexed by Germany before the war. Czechoslovakia was occupied/annexed by Germany before the war in stages. However, Germany was not a fascist state at the time, it was National Socialist. By any but the loosest and most meaningless definition, the Nazi's were NOT fascists
Manchuria was annexed by the Japanese before the war, depending on how one defines the beginning of the war in the Pacific, but Japan was a democratic constitutional monarchy. By no intelligent definition can Imperial Japan qualify as fascist.
Semantics may not be important, but WWII actually began in the Pacific with the annexation of Manchuria in 1931 and escalated with the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937. That war was incorporated into WWII (in name) after Pearl Harbor in 1941, but France, Great Britain, the USSR and the USA were already involved on the Chinese side via providing arms, training and military 'advisers' and units such as the Flying Tigers and comparable Soviet detachments. Germany was initially involved on the Chinese side, but later switched to the Japanese. The war did not start with Pearl Harbor, it simply widened and changed its name and the participants stopped pretending that they were not at war.

I'd say C.
The Germans invaded France, Czechoslovakia, and Austria. The Japanese invaded China and Manchuria I think. Ethiopia doesn't sound historically familiar to me. Either it wasn't much of a fight to take it, or it wasn't taken.

Austria wasn't occupied because it grew to alter right into a province of Germany in 1938 and could have been formally classed as Germany, while the different international places indexed have been occupied contained in the sense that their autonomy exchange into shelved wben Germany invaded them yet they weren't aside of the political makeup of Germany
