Not just at parties...at all social gatherings.
The kitchen is the heart of the home and the people who live there.
I give you two choices...the softest, deepest sofa and a DVD...
...Or a warm kitchen with wooden chairs scraping on stone tiles and sizzling...cracking....cooking noises interspersed with conversation and smells you've known all your life.
Warmth and goodness in the only way you know them.

Of course! When I'm drinking I got to find the food! I remember one night I went to a Christmas party and me and this girl started getting really hungry after drinking beer and there sat a big platter of chicken salad sandwiches that the crust had been cut off and they were cut in little halves. I never liked chicken salad sandwiches but when we started eating those, they were so good that we were shoving them in our mouths one after another. Then everyone else started following our lead and thank goodness they had more in the fridge or there would've been some very unhappy people! LMAO

I'm no good at chatting up and I always get rebuffed.
Enough to drive a man to drink, I don't do no washing up.
I always reached the stuff piled up, a-piled up in the sink.
That's why you'll ALWAYS find me in the kitchen at parties.

Yeah, most of the time. You would be surprised how many people come in the kitchen. Especially if your a smoker.

I actually do! Either there or in the garden. I guess the kitchen is good becuase thats where all the food and booze lives!

Yeah & I hate it when its at our house, we've spent ages preparing the lounge, Dining room etc with nice mood lighting, pot pouri and everyone stands up in the kitchen, stupid isn't it.
Well it aint happening this year, we are not having a party.

Yeah I like to see whats going on with the food at the party. I wouldn't mind helping to make it. I just have this thing about food I have to see it be made, unless we're like at a restaurant or something.

Used to, but then I would end up getting asked to wash up and get drinks etc so now I hover by the stairs, you get a good view of who is on with who and all the goss...
