Oh, you remind me of me back in the day!!

My best advice is to learn to use tampons. They are SO comfortable, and you never have to worry about people seeing the pad. They can be difficult to use at first until you get used to putting them in right. Once they're in, YOU DON"T FEEL A THING!!

In the mean time, if you're just wearing jeans, no, people can't see the pad. Pads are so slim and thin now that you can't tell someone is wearing them no matter what they are wearing. Just don't wear super tight fitting, thin, light colored pants.

Hope this helps!! Go buy some slim tampons and practice on them. You'll wish you'd done it sooner!

No. They Cant See The Pad. I Used To Be Like This. But After a While I Was Like This Is What Girls Go Throught & I Dont Care What People See Or Think. But If U Think U Will Leak I used To Always Wear Dark Pants No Pink,White, No lite colors. It Works.Or Just Use A Tampon If U Think People Will See The Pad. But Talk To Ur Parents About Using A Tampon First.

Sometimes, they can. You have to watch the location of the pad and the type of clothes you are wearing. Stay away from sweatpants! If it really bothers you that much, you can use tampons. If you haven't used one before, here are some tips. One, buy the kind that are made for your body, slender or junior size. Two, know that your body is made to stretch to fit. I know sexually active girls that were afraid to use them, but I used tampons way before I ever had sex. Three, when it is later in the period, tampons might hurt when you take it out because it's so dry. Four, if you are worried about insertion, there is a diagram in the box that helps you do it. Five, yes, it's embarassing to buy the stuff, but we need the stuff it and it's a part of life. You can make sure that you go to a female cashier and ask them to double bag it.

No they can't see the pad unless you were are maybe wearing white pants. I remember being younger and thinking the same thing...its not abnormal to feel that way!! Just remember to change your pad often to keep yourself clean and from leaking. Good luck!!

I used to feel the same way. No one can tell that you are on your period. Stop being so paraniod. Just act like your normal self and if you have to, make frequent trips to the bathroom, just to be sure. But, don't overdo it though. It might be strange if people see you going to the bathroom every hour.

no, not unless your pants are unusually tight. you probably have a fairly heavy period and thats why it feels like you're leaking. have you ever tried tampons? try the ones with applicators if its your first time. Its so much less bulky!! and you will only have to wear a panty shield with it. nice and neat

I still wonder if people can see my pad! Just make sure you change it often and look at yourself in the mirror to see if you can see it. Get the thin pads with wings...they work!

No, they can't. Try not to worry. Chances are, tons of other girls think the same thing. I know I do! I hate getting up and am scared that everyone is gonna start laughing. But that hasn't EVER happened yet. And I doubt it will.

Only if you are wearing pants that are too tight for you.
