well, let this first timer tell you! LOL im a little overweight too and ive found that the best exercise to do is walking. just a little everyday. also, my diet has changed. not in what i eat, but how much i eat. i eat when im hungry and STOP eating when im full. thats kept me to about 5 lbs so far and im almost 7 months.

Fifth pregnancy... wow and a big congrats to you!! I think a minimum amount of exercise is good... yoga, pilates, swimming all these are a good form of movement and are good for you. Try doing brisk walks too. If you are eating well then being a little overweight shouldnt really be a problem... seems like you are well on the way to a great start.. enjoy the pregnancy....

If watching TV do 5 push ups every commercial break. When some says three pointer, dunk, Lebron james, home run, or touch down on sports center do 10 sit ups. If not these knee to elbow's 100 every night = 50 each side. Slow and steady over a period of time and removing extra sugar will help drop weight. Drinking losts of water also.

FIfth... you should be a pro by now... we should be asking you the questions. :) LOL Seriously... the best thing for you is to totally eat healthy and just walk. You dont even need to get your heart rate up. In fact they say you lose more when you keep your heart rate at a certain lower rate. Depending on your age and wieght right now will determine what your heart beat should stay at. I am sure you can look that up online somehow. Good luck.

Eat what you like but when you do think about the nutrients that your baby is getting out of it. Then you may change your mind about eating bad foods. As for exercise I am sure you are getting enought looking after your other 5 children. Don't worry about you weight and enjoy your pregnancy - as long as you are happy then your baby will come out healthy. I was overweight before both of my pregnancies and they come out both quite large & healthy. Just watch what you eat and it will be good. Congratulations & good luck.

Trying to get into shape & lose weight during pregnancy is a bad idea. Being pregnant is not the time to get fit. All you need to do is only eat when you're hungary, eat healthy, & go on walks. You're supose to be gaining weight during this time, not losing it.
