Democrat - I want John Edwards to win. He's by far their best candidate with the most concrete plans on virtually every issue. It's very hard to say who will actually win at this point. Hilary has the lead, but I don't think it will hold up because too many people dislike her, and for some good reasons. Obama is very popular but also very inexperienced, and that will hurt him.
In the end I'm going to be optimistic and predict that John Edwards will be the next US President. Kerry surprised a lot of people in 2004 to beat Dean because he was the "safer bet", and I think the same applies to Edwards over Obama. I just hope Hilary's popularity among Dems doesn't continue, because everyone else hates her.
Republicans - I think McCain will win it. Giuliani has been the leader ever since he announced, but his popularity is fading fast as conservatives finally realize that he's a social liberal (took them a long time to catch on!). Frankly I don't care who wins their nomination because I don't think any Republican has a realistic shot against any of the top 3 Dems. I hope Romney wins just because he's the biggest nutjob.
I am slightly concerned about Fred Thompson because a lot of conservatives seem to think he's the messiah or something. Probably because he's got the new kid on the block shine where they don't know much about him, and that looks good in comparison to their current group of losers who they know too much about to like.

I think John Edwards for the Democrats and Ron Paul for the Republicans.
I know people are going to call me crazy, but he's the only one that could beat any democrat in the field.
If the Republicans nominate a pro-war candidate then they'll lose for sure. No doubt about it.

Hillary Clinton might win the Democratic nomination because of her influence in the party.
Rudolph Giuliani might be the standard bearer of the Republican party because of his popular fight against terrorism.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who between the two will likely win.

Hillary Clinton gets the nod from Democrats, hopefully with Obama or Edwards as a running mate. Who cares who the republicans nominate. They're going down in ignominious defeat, guaranteed.

I think Fred Thompson will be the Republican choice if he throws his hat into the ring. I'd vote for him too.
I'm not a Democrat, but I'm guessing it will be Obama. He is smart enough to sell his B.S. to them.
The EXTREME left will go for Hillary or Edwards, so who knows. If either of them are chosen, the Dems will lose in '08 too.
