do people have friends in college just as they do in high school or are you alone in college?

Im in high school and just wondering.

OF COURSE YOU HAVE FRIENDS DARLING! I'm still good friends with many of my high school friends--some of them are at the same college as me. That may or may not be the case for everybody.

Now, you're never alone unless you WANT to be alone. Many colleges have nice things that they do for college freshmen so that they learn to adapt to college, feel welcome, and meet new people to make friends and such. College is NOT a scary place! Don't be fearful of it. Just be cool baby and you will be fine.

College is what you make of it.
You can most certainly make new friends in college. Besides meeting new people in classes, or through your roommate/s, there are usually many activities and organizations on campus which you can join and meet new people. Just don't let it interfere with your studies. College is too expensive to waste it on partying all the time. There is a time to party with your friends, and a time to study.

I actually had a lot more friends in college than high school. I am still in touch with all of them even though we graduated in 1977.

Absoultely, and as you go on in college the people in your major and department become your "extended" family. im verly close w/ everyone im the musice depratment at my college( im a music major) we do so much together and take basically all the same classes. plus you may become very close with your roommates and other people in you building. it is almost like living in a little citiy with people that are all your age.

you're not alone, even in college, wanna make new friends? go out on occasion -just not before a big test! ;-)

LOL, Yeah, they keep everyone separate. I doubt you have friends now, so you most likely won't have any in college
