is it aginst the law if...?

someone has been working at a company for 30 years, and he claims to "never take home a paycheck", yet he's always got a check sitting on his desk every week in his WIFES name, when she doesn't even work for the company??

Yes, that might be illegal. He might be trying to avoid paying child support or some other sort of garnishment. You may want to tip off the IRS or some other agency about that.

well this would be hard to prove or get any one to investigate it

i don't know if its illegal, but it seems unethical. it could be a tax-law issue???
