The Secret is, the author wanted a lot of money and recognition, so she put together some great ideas that have been around since the beginning of time, wrote them down in a book, and sold them to people who will buy a fix for anything that ails them.
Positive thnking and laws of attraction are real and do really work, but if you are measuring your life by them, it pretty much reverses what you are trying to do. You have to live as if you already have everything that you desire. Ever notice that when you get a windfall of money for whatever reason, you get even more for various reasons? Or when you are single for what seems like forever, as soon as you start dating, three more people are trying to win you over?

I definitely believe in The Secret. When reflecting upon my past I've I remember several occasions when I've applied the Law of Attraction to my advantage. It works much better, however, when you are good at visualizing your goals.

Some parts are neat.
But there is nothing new under the sun.

I think it works. Its the Law of Attraction. We project something into the universe and it comes back to us. I have the book and read it sometimes.
