No I don't think that's fair, I mean if your with someone things should just be cool between the both of you with things like that. Sharing is a great thing in a relationship.
If the woman doesn't have a lot of money I guess it's all good for the guy to handle what he can but my style is if he can do it, than so can I.

I know my opinion is somewhat outdated, but I believe in a dating situation the male should pay. In a long term relationship though I believe that splitting everything or taking turns treating is the only fair way to go.

Nope....it doesn't have to be 50/50...but all the bills! not going to happen...there are valueable lesson to be learned by being responsible for ones own finances.

if you both work, you should share in the responsibilities. if only one of you works, then of course the burden is placed on only one. if that's the case then have the food on the table when he comes home and the house clean, laundry done...etc... when only one person supports the whole house, it's hard on a relationship......

If the two live together & both work, they should share the bills.
If only ONE works, the other should do ALL the housework & cooking.
