As far as presidents go, he isn't the best, nor is he the worst. He wasn't liked from the beginning of his presidency just because he narrowly defeated opponent Al Gore, who was much liked by young voters. His handling of 9/11 was just what any good president would do, clean up the mess left by some of the most racist people in the world, and declare war on them to ensure that it doesn't happen again.
At the beginning of the War on Terror, the president had overwhelming support for his decision to attack the Taliban and terrorists in general, and even when the war shifted to Iraq, he still had most Americans on his side. But when the war dragged on a little too long, some Americans began to become impatient and insisted that the war was unnecessary and therefore, his approval rating dropped.
Overall, I would say that his presidency has been a decent one (aside from the fiasco resulting from Katrina). He has also stuck to his principles through thick and thin, making him a brave man. He has withstood non-stop ridicule because of where he is from and how he talks, and dispite of this he has maintained the values on which America was founded.

I actually like President Bush. The more he sticks to his principles, the more I like him. Loyalty and integrity are characteristics that are not readily acclaimed, let alone found in our culture today. He has a goal of keeping our country's citizens safe from Islamic terrorists. It is a real threat that so many of the U.S. citizens are denying. Our Western culture wants to be comfortable and complacent. It is a deadly combination when faced with enemies whose primary focus in life is to eliminate us.

Thank you, President Bush, for standing your ground, even when the drive-by media and the defeatist Left try to bring you down every chance they get. History will show your greatness.

He has turned America from a Respected country into a Mockery. The rest of the world laughs at us, and thinks of us no better than the regimes of Hitler, Castro, Stahlin or any other blood thirsty, power hungry, greedy SOB in history. He is a criminal, a murderer, and a complete and utter moron. He has led thousands of americans into a war to serve no one but himself and his cronies, and used fear to do it. He has put us into the biggest debt in the history of america. He has corrupted the political process more than any president in history. He has lied to the public again and again His own party is turning against him, and to sway a republican against a republican is very difficult! MY opinion of bush is that he is a Criminal, and should be tried as a Criminal, Punished as a Criminal, Treated as a Criminal, respected as a Criminal, and EXECUTED as a Criminal!

He is a man of conviction and a steadfast leader that has pulled us out of the doldrums of the Clinton era and restored respect back in America. Although the damage and mockery of the Clinton administration will linger on, at least we can hold our heads high as proud Americans.

God Bless America our Troops and Commander in Chief !!!
