I hope so, then I wouldn't have to watch or hear about Clemens getting warm up starts against the third grade deaf mute team in Omaha. Enough with the Yankees already. There is so many other things I would rather focus on. ESPN needs to stop!

As a Sox fan I am cringing right now. The Sox have an 11 game lead over Baltimore, 14.5 over the Yankees.
Yes this is the biggest lead in recent memory but the Yankees always start slow and come back strong. Historically, the Sox start off hot and sputter at the end.
Obviously nobody would argue that you'd rather have your team 14 games down instead of 14 games up. I love the Sox chances right now. But I do remember a certain year that we will not mention between 1977 and 1979 that the Sox blew a 14 game lead in like 2 1/2 months.
This Sox fan ain't countin' any chickens!

Yea, I guess you're right. Hell there is only 120 plus games left in the season. Yea, let's pack it in. Yea, the season is over. Put up the white flag................But wait!! Could it be that the reason things are the way they are is because the Yankees haven't be healthy all season??? Could be. And is it possible that the Red Sox haven't had a slump yet, as all teams usually do during the course of a seasons?? Yes!! And as I recall Boston is famous for blowing big leads.
When you add it all up it just sound to me like another typical baseball season. It's amazing but what ever happened to all those Red Sox fans after that 5 game sweep in August of last year? As I recall you all took an early vacation. Never heard from you again. Well, we Yankee fans are still here no matter what so give us your worse.

Don't care..There are many other teams out by 10 or more games. They never seem to get mentioned. Baseball universe does not center around NY.

Hello I'm a Braves fan. Real fans do not give up until after math says it is impossible to catch up. Thus no real Yank fan will of given up yet. However I hope they lose horribly.

It really doesn't matter if the fans give up, it is whether or not the players give up
