Based on a lot of your other questions, this is probably a joke. However, it is intriguing. Since neither of the inventors of the modern version of the game was named hackey, where did they get the name. I used to watch high school kids playing it in New Mexico, before Wham-o took over.

I think the true explanation is that Hacky was a guy. When he was on his death bed, he made the wish that people would still play with him after he passed on.
So, the cut off a certain private item.... ouch....
