Why are the white people on here being so mean?

I've been reading through the answers for a while and all I see is negative comments about other races. You all claim that other races say negative things about you, but I haven't seen nearly as many comments from them as I have from the white people.

From what I've read most of the other races are trying to make peace. And you claim that minorities throw the race card, white people throw the race card, you seem to expect special treatment because you are white.

No I'm honestly not looking for cotroversy, it just makes me sad. I'm part white and my family isnt like this. i'm just wondering why most of what I've seen as racist has been coming from white people

I'm a white person myself, and would like an answer to that. There are so many white racists on here (appears to be white men for the most part) making white people look bad. I think a lot of whites have pent-up frustration for blacks that they have to let go of somewhere. So, they choose this place. Most racists are too frightened to make those kinds of comments around a black man in public, both for fear of getting popped and they know it will hurt their reputation and social standing. From what I've witnessed from being around white men from all walks of life is that many (not all) white men are very race-centric and they have fears of losing their place in the world to people of other races. Black men dominate popular sports and get a lot of attention from white women because of their masculinity. They're said to be better in bed, at dancing, etc. White women are dating black men in increasing numbers, which is a threat to white men and the white race. They also fear Hispanics because of a difference in culture, and because of their growing population in the States. White men tend to be conservative, and conservatives are known for not liking change, and sticking to their own. In a way, this sect of people do have reason to fear if, that is, they continue to put so much stock in race preservation and such.

There are two emotions from which other emotions stem - love and fear. Hate and anger stem from fear, which is why we're seeing the fear coming out here in hate-laden comments. Personally, as a white person, I enjoy diversity. I don't see people of different races as a threat. I enjoy the Answers culture board, and post questions to find out about other races and cultures - I don't want to be grouped in with the racist, hateful bunch here, and hope I'm not.

I am caucasion. I am really sorry that you have expirienced bad things from other white people, but that doesn't mean you should paint the whole white race with one statement, calling all caucasions horrible and mean. I am not racist, and I will never be. I would hate to be discriminated against just because of how other people have acted. If I were you I would've put my question into different words. It sounded like you were being racist against Caucasions. I know that is not what you were meaning though.

All hatred and meanness stems from selfishness. Putting other down is satisfying your needs without thinking about others. Selfishness is the mark of those who are void of understanding. It does not matter what color you are this is a philosophy that will never succeed. The sad thing is that they think they are having a good laugh, but it is there salvation that is at stake and they will be judged.

I am sorry you feel that way. I don't do that, and taught my children to treat others as well as they would want to be treated, regardless of race or religion. But one of the other responses was right, it is the vocal MINORITY that gets the most attention.

No, no! I was on here about 5 hours ago and there was these people asking how it will be when white people will be no more because of racial mixing. At least 5 people said how cool it will be for that to happen, that there won't be any proper whites left and we'll all be racially mixed!

So you can hardly blame whites for getting annoyed with that kind of attitude to our race on here!

when it comes to a question of race, always the one side is white people.
so, it is normal to find positive and negative sides of the race story from white people. the human population is divided naturally on races and it is a normal thing.
but after so public awareness on race issue it is so annoying to hear or read unpleasant comments !!

There are really only a couple of them. Like I told someone else, it is probably bored high school students who if you left them on my side of town would be scared sh*tless and cry for their mommies to come get them.

It isn't all white people, sweety. A lot of us know better.

It's a case of the loud obnoxious minority making the reasonable majority look bad. It happens with all sorts of groups of people.

It's not all white people, it's this group of idiots.
I really think it's just one guy with a lot of accounts who just says all this as a cry for help, he just needs a hug or good swift kick, it's one of the two.
