Actually, don't stay away from it. Print the chats out and take them to a police station. Allow them to decide what to do with the perv. If he's making sexual comments about a child then it's a good bet he's also making real life sexual advances towards children or will progress to that in the near future. Stop him before he hurts a child. Too many times children don't have a voice. Give a child a voice. Stand up for them. Don't allow scum to think that any sort of sexual advance, comment, or remark is okay. I don't know how many times you hear the story of the kid who was abused and how the neighbors or email friends thought the person was a little odd or had "made comments". That child that was abused didn't have a voice but those adults that felt something was off did. You can be a voice or you can igore it. I hope you choose to be a voice. Turn the manuscript into a police department. Contact the company hosting the site (usually found at the bottom of the page) give them the screen shot of the comment. To get a screen shot push the print screen button usually found at the top of your keyboard (on a laptop you'll have to hold down the fn key while hitting prt sc button usually shared by the insert key) and then open a word document and push the ctrl button at the same time you hit the letter V. Contact the sites help desk and let them know what's going on. This guy needs to have it known that what he's saying is NOT okay and it won't be tolerated by ANYONE.

If you report him, he can and probably will get kicked out of the chat room. Sorry to say but that is almost meaningless to do. Anyone can just change their IP and get right back in and do it again and again. You will not be causing him any problem, changing an IP address is easy, in fact that fool probably has many different ones already. That person might be crude and rude, but it's not against the law to say almost anything in a chat room. Think about it for a minute, he has no idea who you are let alone who your grand daughter is, it was just foolish talk by a fool. It's is just as likely to be someone in another country and they are there just to make you mad.

Sorry but you are wasting your time. Truth be told, if you have this thin of skin you need to stay out of chat rooms. Don't take what is written on the Internet as real because it's not.

make sure that person doesn't have any info about you or your family because he could be a sexual predator. There is so much crime today and you cannot ever be to careful who your chatting with. I would save emails & etc and report it.

ew nasty! Report it to the company that runs the chat room, there should be a link somewhere on the main page that says "contact us" or "webmaster". Give the exact screenname of the person who made the comment, and what they said. They will follow up on it and kick the person off the chat room - and if necessary, contact the police.

You can report the abuse to the chat room moderators and that person might be kicked out or censored, but I agree with earlier postings: If you can, stay out of that chat room and find another one.
