Accept the decisions you've made, and move on with your life. + Try not to make the same mistakes again, with someone who you may feel is drop dead gorgeous, but have nothing in common with.

I think everyone goes through those feelings during a breakup/divorce.... Just know that you can't compare whoever you meet to your ex...You don't want to idealize her in your head, or else you'll get yourself stuck in a vicious cycle that's really hard to come out of. Just know that there are SO many people in the world looking for someone too. You ARE NOT alone. And also, know that you are not REPLACING your ex wife, rather finding someone else that fits both of your needs in a better way....You're wife played in int regal part in your life and has made you realize what you do and don't need in a partner. And as far as the looks thing goes, cuz I know how men are, just know that it's hard to find EVERYTHING you want....so if she's not as hot as your ex, she might have things in the personality department that your ex seriously lacked, and I'm willing to bet that that will make her even more attractive to you. You'll find your way :)

Maybe you didn't think this out thoroughly. Try counciling and rent marraige videos on how to work through this. Sounds like you miss her or you wouldn't feel this way. You can overcome personality differences if you both have the will.

yea sure its OK to feel that way, its normal. the best way to get out of the depression or the rut so to speak is just get your friends together and go out. if u find yourself alone go out by yourself. join a sports league or club and meet new people. slowly that will help u move past and get on with your life

"...good or better than her in looks and in other
respects." ??????? Sound like you might want to
consider someone different.
"...was impossible for us to reconcile our difference
in personalities. ".......... ???????
This is understandable , but you don't want someone
whom could 'like' ( or even better ) than your ex.
As for the 'beauty' or 'other respects', all of that
is in the eyes of the beholder.
Best of Luck !!!!

yes, it's ok. but realize that one day you'll meet someone who has a personality to match yours. if you are with someone with a totally opposite personality, looks won't matter anyway because you won't get along.
