ok i now the season of lost is over like a week ago but i have to ask these questions, ok first that was the best season finale i think but it was sad because charlie died some poeple are saying he dint have to die but he did because if he ran out the room he would not be able to close the dorr from the inside so if went outside the water would have came in so he was trying to save the other by staying in the room and closing the dorr from the inside , you cant lose the dorr from the outside unless ur leaning against it so water would have came in so charlie did have to die and second who do u thinkthe funeral was off. i think it was ben but it would be to easy if it was ben i dont think it was locke beacuse locke washelping them remeber when penny told charlie that she does not know nomelieor the new girl what ever her name is peeny said she doesn't know so it means she is not who she said she is i think ben and locke were right about her being a betaryer what do u think (sry 4 spell)

Charlie sacrificed himself because he knew if he didn't Claire and Aaron wouldn't be rescued, because of what Desmond said about it his "flashes" can change if everything doesn't go as planned.

I think that was Michael's funeral. On lostpedia.com someone writes out the article the whole way through. It says that the person was from New York and survived by one teenage son. Both signs point to Michael...

There's lots of speculation about the funeral. I know others have said they can read it or have found places that could, but I just don't know.

What I got from it was that it had to have been someone that Jack cared about, and someone he thought Kate would care about. What I know now from screencaps is that it's a man, whose name begins with a J. Possibilities are John, Jacob, James 'Sawyer', Julian- Juliette's nephew, or Jin. It says, "J.. of New York." But this was in an LA paper, and the funeral was in LA where Jack was....hmmm

With all the lies it could be that someone is lying about their name.

Yes. Charlie seems to be dead. He did what he did to save Claire, because Desmond said if Charlie did that, Claire would be rescued on a helicopter. Charlie was ultimately trying to save and help everyone. But we all know how many times other people like patchy mikhail has been "killed" and still survived.

I'm not yet totally convinced that Charlie is dead. I almost believe it is impossible for Charlie from lack of air. He was once hung and survived. Locke also was shot and is making a comeback.

Never the less, Charlie did sacrifice himself to save Desmond.

He would have stated Sawyer. yet it relatively is the glaring answer. He may additionally confer with a baby, considering maximum possibly Kate is pregnant given the extreme male fertility fee on the island. Her ending up with Sawyer is slightly too trite. i think of Sawyer would return to his existence of crime considering interior the previous few episodes he has killed 2 people. i think of this would impact the character. i attempted to examine the newpaper article and it appeared like the call replaced into Kwan, meaning solar or jIn. i'm uncertain who it replaced into considering no person confirmed up for the funeral. If it replaced into Juliet, her sister and nephew would have confirmed up. additionally, Jack replaced into very upset with reference to the dying. Locke maybe? i do no longer think of Locke would ever bypass away the island until he replaced into compelled to. maybe they weren't meant to bypass away the island because of the fact all of their lives have been ruined while they back domicile. it relatively is my wager judging via the way Jack's existence has destructed.
