Still makes me laugh how the U.S. fervently believes that their brief cameo appearance during the wars in Europe bailed the allies out. As we know, militarily they did bugger all except march at the front of the victory parade( and make some films about it, conveniently leaving out anyone else). Though of course their money did help us and the Russians out with military hardware. But boy did we pay for that later.
It was only last year that we finished off paying the money plus interest we had to borrow from them after the war because Britain had almost bankrupted itself fighting for the free world against the Nazis whilst the states got richer by just selling the weapons and not joining in with any of the fighting.
Maybe now free from american debt and with the pound currently worth over 2 dollars we can return to being the 'World's Greatest Country' ;¬)

America is the best country, Britain is the second best.
if you want to be the greatest country, you'l have to somehow become king and invade Europe, or Invade america. both (since the Euro alliance and america kicking arss) is a bit hard.
plus we had to bail you out in 2 world wars. and our undermanned militia owned you. plus Germany is geting pretty close to owning you on all levels.
and if youre going to bring up how german lost, picture this.
the entire world vs germany, wich held for 5 years against the odds. lead by two empire building maniacs. if Britain declared war on germany to day, your precious channel wont stop the bundeswehr.. and america will be on your arss in hours.
