They usually make minimum wage which right now is $7.25 an hour and they can work anywhere from 20 to 40 hours a week. It's not much. I don't even think you can pay for an apartment on your own on that.

It depends on how many hours are worked and what they are being paid. I just called the local McDonalds. They are paying $7 an hour. At 40 hours times four you 1,120. Not bad when you consider they have no other skills and many are high school students or drop outs.

Minimum wage is due to increase in Sept. to $7.25. One answer said it is now, but they just passed the bill. The next increase is July 24 to $5.85 a hour. Right now minimum wage is $5.15.
