I have phobia with snakes

I'm scared of snakes, other reptiles, insects and other large creepy crawlies but I don't start screaming at the top of my lungs when I see one or anything.
I'm not that pathetic or immature and I do know how to control myself and my emotions.
Maybe it is a phobia, maybe it isn't, who knows?
All I know is I don't like to come too close to one.
And I certainly would never touch one, let alone hold one!

I thought I did..fear of heights. Until I was trapped in an elevator with someone who was truly claustrophobic (extreme fear of enclosed spaces). The reality is, I just don't like heights, but I'm not truly phobic...just normal fear of falling and getting hurt when I land.
A phobia is a strong persistent or extreme fear...mine is really within the range of normal.

I don't like scorpions, snakes or tarantulas. I saw too many to count in the desert where I lived for 25 years. Now I still have to put up with the sand/wolf spiders in the North country - man they move fast! And they are ugly. Oh well there's good and bad in every state - nature wise.

it's not a phobia. when people get pleasure in hurting me ,i go crazy.but outwardly i keep cool.
