I have gone to oprah.com and looked at the archives (pronounced ar' kives ;) section but it seems as though they only go back to '99 where as the guest that I'm thinking of was on the show back in the 80's. It was a show about employment discrimination and how she was discriminated in the work force due to a facial disfigurement. Sadly, she died after having about 16 or more reconstructive surgeries and ironically was actually relatively happy with her appearance. Thank you for any info!

Email the show and ask them. Or go to the IMDB.com website and ask on the Oprah message board. Good luck.

Not having seen the shows which you reference, I cannot comment. I find the alleged comments to be offensive, if they were indeed made. However, I don't think that your examples support a charge of racism towards Caucasian women. She has interacted with many people over the course of time, and she has frequently put out messages of love and acceptance for all. Just because she is hard on a few guests who are Caucasian does not make her racist. She has been hard of certain black guests as well. I think it has more to do with issues concerning each particular guest.
