Don't mean to bust your bubble, but the movie was only based on a true story. I would have to say there isn't a Sindy in real life. Though the character may be based on a real person that was in the original Freedom Writers, but not one single person. You could try contacting them at their website http://www.freedomwritersfoundation.org they may be able to help you.
