The tail is furry, looks round, but not longer than the body. It's brown. We live in CT, and have a waterway beside our house. I've seen it swim. It does not seem to be a muskrat because the tail is not scaly.

For something the dimensions of a raccoon or possum, i'm thinking that in the time of an airgun you will possibly desire to probable use something like a Sumatra 2500 (in the two .22 or .25 high quality), Airforce Condor (in .22 high quality), Evanix AR6 (in .22 high quality), or consistent with hazard even a Shinsung profession 707 (in 9mm). you would be wanting something that provide you with a minimum of 20 ft-lbs, and 30 ft-lbs (or extra) is extra clever truly in case you would be taking photos at extra advantageous than say 50 ft. An airsoft gun is only going to piss a raccoon off except you utilize it like a club. Then it might somewhat kill it, if its a stoutly made airsoft gun. of direction you will probable smash your airsoft gun in the technique...
