There is none. Theyre all the same, and everything else is just a show to distract us from the fact that they are all the same, meaning corrupted and power-hungry.

I'd say they both view the Iraq War as a political oportunity.
As with the war, the other differences between them aren't that real. They're tactical differences: which special interest do they pander to in the hopes of getting campaign funds, which do they pander to for votes, what hot button issues do they use to attack eachother. Those differences are merely manufactured as part of the complex game of politics.
Both parties are alike in the one thing they really care about: siezing power.

Republicans believe that if people work hard than they should be able to become rich and stay rich. They also tend to be more Conservative which means more pro-life and anti gay marriage.
Democrats believe that the poor should be given more tax breaks and are more for food stamps and welfare, not saying any thing bad about those things because I get food stamps. The tend to me more of socialists.
This is how I have come to understand it any way. I could be wrong.

There are differences but there are also similarities...both parties try to convince their supporters that all the ills in the world are because of the other party....and as long as americans stay polarized they will never wake up and ask "what the hell are all these idiots up there doing?", and until we do, theyll always have jobs, always be wined and dined, always have a fat salary job waiting for them when thery do leave office, and they can all sit there and laugh at us.

In theory there are major ideological differences about the proper role of government in our society. Democrats basically believe in social freedom and fiscal regulation. Republicans believe in fiscal freedom and social regulation. In practice there's not a single shred of difference. You might as well ask, "What's the real difference between Coke and Pepsi?" Democrats want to take your money, give it to others, and tell you how to live your life. Republicans want to take your money, give it to others, and tell you how to live your life. At the end of the day nobody has any money and we're all being told how to live. Regardless of who's in power.

The Democrats began with Andrew Jackson.
The Republicans with Abe Lincoln.
These two have their faces on some of your money.
Both of their parties want their hands on all of your money.
So there is no difference.

Not much. Both parties have de-volved into self-perpetuating, self serving entities, with little regard for the people in this country.
Both, despite claims, strive to increase the size and power of government, and chip away at the Bill of Rights, one law after another.

None.
Members of both parties are looking out for their own interests, and will change their positions as the polls dictate.
Just put together a graph of how each politician votes on a specific issue and it will look like the ocean waves during a hurricane.

Democrats are and always have been supporters of the working man the blue collar guys and gals the "real" Americans Democrats helped create the Middle Class.
Republicans are mainly for the rich but they will make big noise about abortion and Jesus and they have convinced a big chunk of poor people that" hey you gotta vote for us ;sure we only help the rich but; hey this is America you might get rich someday. Here have a lottery ticket" All the while they are destroying the middle class. they want only two classes of people the haves and the ones that in their eyes don't matter. why idiots vote republican and don't have a pot to pee in is beyond me....if it were me I'd vote in MY OWN best interest.
