yeah and its been like 4 years and they still don't have power running water. pretty basic stuff
but we are building the biggest embassy the world has ever seen...................... i bet they are happy drinking the muddy water while they see that behemith take shape

It is a complicated situation and you are looking at it in the most simplistic way possible. If it was the USA going out on a daily basis and slaughtering civilians then I guess we would feel really guilty about those numbers but since we are the ones trying to protect them from Al Qaeda and Iranian backed militias then maybe they are the ones who should feel guilty. Saddam killed hundreds and hundreds of thousands of his OWN people so I think it was a noble goal to depose him. Now there are new tyrants killing the Iraqis so no I don't think they are happy, but neither where they under Saddam (unless you lived in a Sunni village). Don't blame the US for what Al Qaeda does ******!

You and the site say nothing about the 250,000 - 350,000 Iraqis Saddam killed.
Does that mean you endorse killing only by certain groups, or do you accept it is ok for Muslims to kill each other?
I hate how this thing has turned out but if successful (and success in anything take PATIENCE), then the whole Middle East has changed. Diplomacy was attempted since World War II and we can all see the peace and stability that brought.

I would say that if an Iraqi is fortunate enough to be in one of the more peaceful area's...yes, they are probably quite grateful. Do you have any idea how many innocent people from Germany, France, England, Italy, and Russia died trying to depose another certain dictator? Multiple millions in Russia alone, not to mention about 6 million innocent Jews. The libs need to get their head out of the sand!
