A graphics card doesn't add to your total memory.
Your virtual memory can be configured from
My Computer properties,
Advanced,
Performance Settings, Advanced,
Change,
Set min and max to twice your physical ram.
OK.

You are getting the message because your virtual memory specs are not consistent with your new RAM specs. You need to change you virtual memory specs to meet the new demands of the new RAM. So you just need to increase the virtual memory specs to be at least 1.5 times the size of your new RAM size.

This is needed because there your CPU requires a significant amount free space for your RAM to dump information when it is working hard. This is where virtual memory comes into play. Your can create more resources by cleaning your registry, cookies an temp files.

When you get to the Virtual Memory menu select the Custom Size check box. Then choose the initial size and the max size. Depending on how much free space you have you can choose what that amount of free space you want. Check the link below for instructions step by step over again for you with the change for custom setting. If you are still confused the link below has a visual step by step instructions.

1.Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2.Click Performance and Maintenance, and then click System.
3.On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
4.Under Virtual memory, click Change.
5.Under Drive [Volume Label], click the drive that contains the paging file that you want to change. In most computers its C:
6.Under Paging file size for selected drive, click to Custom size check box. You can enter the amount of memory you would like to reserve for Virtual memory by entering the initial and maximum size.
7.Click Set

Hot tip: Keep your initial size and maximum size the same. The will stop your computer having to constantly change the paging file size thus cut down on the work for your CPU. Also the paging file size for both max and initial should be 1.5 times the amount of RAM.

Hope this helps!

Right click "My Computer" and click Properties. Select the Advanced tab, and under Performance, click Settings. In performance Options, click Advanced. Under Vertual mimory, click "Change" and increase the size of the "Page file.

The second and better method would be to install more "RAM". That will stop your machine from Page filling so often.

The RAM on your graphics csrd is not used as general RAM by the system. You need to do a disk cleanup and add more RAM.Check how much free space there is on your hard drive as that is what it's complaining about.

you need to determine what programs are running and using up you memory...hit control alt and delete all at once ONE time twice makes it reboot.by doing this you will bring up a window and it will tell you which things are running at this moment...to stop some of these things from running you may have to set them to not come on when the PC boots up so hit start then run then type msconfig and a window will pop up and give you options of which thangs you want to have running at start up..then reboot the PC and do a disk cleanup go start to all prgrams to accesories to system tools to disk cleanup and follow the prompts
