Do you think the pistions are overrated?

i mean just take a look at the playoffs this year and last year for some reason they struggle they got past the magics easy but was up on the bulls 3-0 and the bulls made one hell of a come back and now the cavs have tied this series at 2 so my question is do you think there kind of overrated and what makes them choke up when they are up on a series ty

I am a huge Pistons fan, I must say, but you make a good point. The problem is their intensity. They are not overrated in overall talent and ability as a team. At their best they can beat ANYBODY. But they simply do not play at their best all the time. The reason is their attitude. They are cocky. They believe they can win at any given moment, and the result is that they simply don't give 100% every minute of every game. One of the problems is having a guy like Rasheed Wallace, who despite really great talent, has some major attitude problems. I personally think the Pistons kept the wrong Wallace. Of course, you can't just blame one player for the attitude of a team. I just don't understand their ********* at all. It is not like they are defending champs or something. All that said, I would not be surprised to see them go all the way anyway. Now that they are all tied up against the Cavs, they have the motivation they need to up their level of play. It is a dangerous way to play a basketball series, though, so anything can happen. The Cavs are a good team, and Lebron James is one of the best in the game. They deserve to win if the Pistons don't show up.

They are not overrated. It's just that the Cavaliers and the Bulls are becoming strong teams in the East like the Heat last year. And right now, the Cavs seem like the stronger team, probably because they are.

It cannot be more evident how strong the Pistons are/were that they kept their opponents under 60 points for like 14 straight games.
