Ok, there's this movie that I can barely remember.

One girl is the heroin of the movie. She's just learning telekinesis and this more experienced evil girl who does telekinesis (and I THINK some voodoo too).

They get into a "battle" and I remember some boyfriend and a van exploding?

Anyway, that's all I got. LOL Thoughts?

Thx - but it's not the Craft... this is much older -- made in the 70s, maybe?

And they weren't witches -- it was telekinesis/voodoo type thing.

Thx!

...sounds a lot like a T.V. movie, which was directed in 1978 by Wes Craven, called "Summer of Fear" (aka "Stranger in Our House"); A young girl (Linda Blair), living with her family on a ranch, is suspicious of another young girl (Lee Purcell), who has been taken in by the family. The orphaned girl, at first shy and withdrawn, begins to exhibit alluring, almost supernatural (and sometimes deadly) influence with those around her, and Linda's character is deemed paranoid and disturbed, when she tries to warn others of her keen observations.

...turns out the adapted girl is a witch, and with the help of a couple of knowledgable persons in town, Linda's character hones and trains her OWN hidden psychic/supernatural powers, in attempt to thwart the witch's hypnotic and deadly influence on the town's populous.

...as close as I can figure, that you're looking for!!!

Artisan, now Lionsgate, put the film out on DVD, while back; in fact, I haven't seen the film in a long while.....in the mood for a fairly mellow, but suspenseful flick!!! Now, if you'll excuse me.....where did I put that DVD?? Ah!! There it is!!!.....

The Craft.

Four girls at a Los Angeles Catholic school form a coven of witches that cast spells on their classmates and each other. Their new powers overwhelm them, leading to an internal power struggle.

(In the end Faruza Balk's character and Robin Tunney's character duke it out.)
